Return and Refund Policy

At Dogou, each item is carefully selected directly from Japanese artisans. However, if a product does not meet your expectations, our return policy is straightforward and respectful.

Return Period

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible, the item must:

  • Be unused, unwashed, and in perfect condition

  • Be returned in its original packaging (or equivalent sturdy packaging)

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or invoice)

How to Request a Return

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • The reason for your return

Return shipping costs are your responsibility, unless the item is defective or we made a mistake.

Returns sent without prior request will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for the following:

  • Used or washed utensils

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, please return the original product and place a new order after your refund is processed.

Right of Withdrawal (EU)

In accordance with European regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without needing to provide a reason.

The item must be in its original condition, unused, with its packaging and proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days.
