Welcome to Dogou! The terms "we", "our" and "us" refer to Dogou, the sole proprietorship of Léonard Menut, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), micro-entrepreneur. Dogou operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, to offer you, the customer, a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Dogou is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services.

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when using our Services. Sales of products are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale, which prevail over these Terms in the event of any conflict.

By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1 – Access and account

By using our Services, you declare that you are of legal age in your country of residence or have the authorisation of your legal guardian. You guarantee that the information you provide when ordering is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.

2 – Our products

We strive to represent our products accurately. Colours or appearance may, however, vary depending on your screen. Handcrafted and vintage pieces may show slight variations or signs of use, described on each product page. We may change descriptions, offers or stock at any time, without affecting orders already confirmed.

3 – Orders

Your order is confirmed once payment has been validated. Dogou may refuse an order for a legitimate reason (unavailability, payment issue, etc.); you will then be informed and fully refunded. A confirmed order cannot be cancelled, without prejudice to your right of withdrawal (article 10). Returns are governed by our Refund Policy.

4 – Prices and billing

Prices are stated in euros, net: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. They exclude shipping costs, which are shown before payment is confirmed. The amount charged is the price in force at the time of your order and appears on your confirmation. An invoice is available on request.

5 – Shipping and delivery

Dogou ships to metropolitan France and to all European Union countries. Orders are generally shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Indicative delivery times after shipping:

  • Metropolitan France: usually 48 hours (Colissimo)
  • Other European countries: 4 to 10 business days

Free shipping on orders of €50 or more in metropolitan France. Risk passes to the customer upon receipt of the products, in accordance with article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code and our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

6 – Intellectual property

All content of the Services (texts, photographs, logo, visuals) is the property of Dogou or its partners. Any reproduction or use without written authorisation is prohibited.

7 – Third-party tools and links

Our Services rely on third-party tools (Shopify, Klaviyo, Judge.me, Google Analytics, etc.). Links to third-party websites are provided for information; we are not responsible for their content.

8 – Relationship with Shopify

Dogou uses Shopify to manage its store. The sales contract is concluded between you and Dogou.

9 – Personal data

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10 – Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without penalty, except for return costs. To exercise it, inform us of your decision by email at leonard@dogou.fr or by post to:

Products must be returned complete within 14 days of your notification. Return costs are paid by you, unless the product is defective or Dogou made a mistake. If the product has lost value due to handling beyond what is necessary to examine it, a deduction may be applied. We refund the price and the original shipping costs (standard rate) no later than 14 days after your notification, using the same payment method; we may wait until we receive the product or proof that it has been sent. 11 – Prohibited uses

You must not use the Services for illegal or fraudulent purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of third parties. Any breach may lead to the suspension of your account.

12 – Suspension of access

Dogou may suspend access to the Services in the event of a serious breach of these Terms, without affecting orders already confirmed.

13 – Warranties

Our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), under the conditions set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale. We strive to ensure continuous access to the website, without being able to guarantee that it will be free of any interruption or error.

14 – Liability

Dogou's liability applies under the conditions provided by law and by our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Dogou is not liable for damage resulting from use of the website or products contrary to their purpose or to the instructions provided, or from force majeure.

15 – Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may send a complaint to leonard@dogou.fr in order to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts; consumers may refer the matter to the court of their place of residence.

16 – Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of your order.
